I am new in the hip hop scene, and I am trying to learn as much as I can. I have watched videos and read about the elements of hip hop: some say there are four, others say five, but in all cases they mention MCing (rapping), DJing (turntablism), breakdancing (b-boying/b-girling), and graffiti art. Knowledge (historical knowledge of movement) is the fifth element. Rockthebelss.com define knowledge as the awareness of the history and culture of hip hop.

I recently had the opportunity to attend my first break workshop, organised by @creativecollective and run by @mamoose It was a different style for me, I am more a freestyle dancer, so it was challenging and fun; I really enjoyed it. I would like to learn more about break. Lately I attended the Against All Odds competition organised by   It was mainly a break competition and the vibe and energy in that place was so high I could not resist to compete in the freestyle category, it was open so I had to dance against dopes,  it was crazy dancing against dancers I follow in Instagram. Next year I will definitely come back.
