I am Benjamin, AKA Benji. An energetic, happy, 9 year old music lover and hiphop dancer. I have always loved music; my parents are Latin and there is always music at home. My older brother also produces music. My passion for dancing started some years ago when I used to dance at home, friends’ parties, in the car, even in the shopping center, I call these the ‘crazy dancing years’.  I had no idea about styles, or the basics, only crazy moves.

The first time I stepped into a studio was in 2020, when I went to V-Hub with Vanessa Friscia, and since then I have attended a  few other studios, I participated in jam sessions, workshops, competed in battles, and met amazing people, great dancers and teachers, Clarence Kent, Ben at Outlaws All Stars, Rhys at Kinetic Creative Studio one, Daniella at Studio One Performance Hub, Popping Jack at New Town Popping Studio, and recently Loic Robillot at Mad Dance House, all of them have helped me during this fantastic and fun learning journey. 

My three favourite styles are popping, breaking and animation; I enjoy them because they are quite different and I can combine them during my freestyle dance.

Right now I’m working on improving my footwork, I find this challenging and exciting at the same time.
